The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides protections for disabled employees. However, it’s important to understand the term ‘disability’ and how the ADA can interplay with other laws like the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Attendees will learn practical application of the ADA, the reasonable accommodations process and the navigation of related issues such as family leave.
