About Us

    The Big Horn Mountain Chapter of SHRM is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management; the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. The Chapter was formed in March of 1985 at that time known as American Society of Personnel Administrators (ASPA). The name was changed in September of 1989 when the national organization changed its name to the Society for Human Resource Management. The Big Horn Mountain Chapter currently has 54 members. 

    The Big Horn Mountain Chapter is a fun and knowledgeable team of Human Resource professionals who strive to provide our community with current HR information and resources as well as networking and professional development opportunities.

    2019 Chapter Goals

      • Maintain Platinum Excel Award status for 2019 SHAPE.
      • Maintain Foundation Chapter Champion Award for 2019.
      • Increase new membership and retain at least 90% of existing membership.
      • Provide training opportunities that are eligible for SHRM and HRCI re-certification credits 90% of the time.
      • Increase public awareness of SHRM.
